DIY Quantities is a set of free calculators for home improvement and DIY projects. Each tool is built by a software engineer with more than 20 years of experience and checked against manufacturer data and worked examples before it goes live.

How we keep results accurate

• Every formula is covered by automated tests with known reference values.
• Material yields (bag sizes, coverage rates) come from published manufacturer specifications.
• Each page shows the formula and a worked example, so you can check the math yourself.
